Travelodge Wirral Eastham

An alright budget hotel. There was only 2 outlets in the room (but to use them the tv and radiator have to be unplugged) and the water pressure was very low. We also got given toilet paper that had like 3 sheets left and only 2 tiny towels. Over than that the room was clean and we slept well.

The Travelodge in Eastham is a fanstatic place to stay for a quite and relaxing break. We always stay here when visiting family who live close by. Also handy for M56/M56, Liverpool, Chester and Cheshire Oaks. We sometimes catch the bus from outside the hotel to Liverpool or Chester they have a good service. All the staff are friendly and can't do enough to help you.

I booked a room here from 9th and to 15th June '24. I saw previous reviews after I booked but before I arrived about the cleanliness and service, so I must admit I was a bit put off. I arrived to a warm and friendly welcome. From the exterior of the building to my room door was very clean. My room was spotless and a good size. I was in the area on a work related course so as a no frills hotel it gets 10/10 from me. easy access and it looks like they was filling in some of the holes in the carpark that so many reviews mentioned. So I’ve just had two nights at the eastham Travelodge and I must say it was an awesome experience for me. I slept really well without any interruptions. The rooms are spotlessly clean got tea & coffee and a fan as I use one every night of the year. The staff are friendly especially Vicky who works nights she is a credit to the company. I also would like to thank the staff and manager as I left behind my electric razor and they are sending it back to me free of charge. As others say an older Travelodge but we found it clean and tidy; it's age also gave it a couple of bonus points for we older travellers in that it used an old-fashioned technology known as a 'key'. You slid this into the 'lock', turned the key and the door opened! No keycard fandango faffing around for the correct wrist action. It also meant the excellent shower was was over a bath, something quite rare in many Travelodges. Another plus was that both soap dispensers worked; by no means always the case. Bathroom and room itself both spotless, bed as good as ever and a newish TV. Slightly odd is that the hotel is pretty much invisible on arrival in the Starbucks car park; thankfully it's shared. A good stay.

You get what you pay for, the only real annoying thing is the lack of plugs in the room, at least one plug next to the bed would be nice

Lovely little Travelodge to stay at . Rooms are large and basic but comfortable. Slept well as the bed was comfy and there were extra pillows if you like sleeping on two . Starbucks is in front of the lodge itself when we stayed there it was undergoing a refit so it was really quiet staying at the lodge . The room was at the back overlooking a builders yard but the trees in summer would hide this . I loved watching the squirrels in the trees early morning and evening. Really cute ! The bathroom was dated and could have been better if the black mould in the silicon seals were to be cleaned out. Check in and out was easy . The staff were lovely. If taking any medication and need water , take a bottle of water with you as £2 a small bottle I thought was a bit expensive. Parking was good plenty of space, What it is like when Starbucks is open I couldn't tell you . I would stay there again , great for us as it is 5 mins in a car to visit friends.

Only real problem is turning into the carpark because of the potholes. You turn in from a busy fast road and in the dark/ rain you can't see the deep holes so damage could easily happen to your car. On a Sunday evening Starbucks closes early which is in the carpark. The rooms do have basic tea coffee making in them but there is no food available.
